Green Life:
exporting with responsibility.
Our first corporate value is not a marketing statement. It is the conviction that a company that depends on the land has an obligation to protect it.
Green Life is not
a slogan.
“Green Life” is FrutiBanana’s first value and stems from a simple reality: our company exists because of the land. The productivity of our plantations depends directly on the soil, water and agricultural ecosystem of Guayas.
This places a concrete responsibility on us: to operate without compromising the productive capacity of the land for future generations. We do not do this for certifications. We do it because it is part of our business logic.
At the same time, we recognise that social sustainability — the wellbeing of the Ecuadorian workers who cultivate and pack our fruit — is equally important. A sustainable supplier takes care of both the soil and the people who work on it.

Equatorial geography
is natural sustainability.
Ecuador produces bananas year-round without forced crop rotation because its climate is constant. This reduces the use of artificial inputs to stimulate out-of-season production — something producers in seasonal climate zones cannot avoid.
The equatorial position also means bananas ripen at their natural pace, without chemical intervention to accelerate the process. The result is fruit with a better nutritional profile and longer post-harvest shelf life.
